Konami ported Metal Gear Solid to PC in 2000, two years after its original PS1 release. We forgive you if you only remember the NES version. The original Metal Gear was of course an MSX 2 game back in the ’80s. Surprisingly enough, this isn’t the first time these older Metal Gear games have come to PC. Among the games rated are the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, and the enhanced Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance.Īt the moment it appears as though these will be direct ports of the original versions of these games, rather than the HD versions released back in 2011 or new remasters. The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has placed ratings on several Konami classics for PC release. Bust out your nanomachines and get your “Snake, Snake, SNAKE!” yell ready.
